Say hello to Prince George! Kate Middleton and Prince William have posed for their first “official” royal photographs with their new son, as is British royal custom.
However, in a sharp departure from tradition, Will and Kate’s family photos weren’t taken by a professional photographer with studio lighting. Instead, they were snapped by Kate’s dad, Michael Middleton, at the Middleton family home (“Middleton Manor”) in Bucklebury, England.
Their dog, Lupo, is also pictured. Will and Kate adopted the puppy in January / February 2012.
In his first interview since Prince George’s birth, Prince William told CNN: “I’m as independent as I want to be, same as Catherine and Harry.”
Prince William continued: “We’ve all grown up differently to other generations, and I very much feel that if I can do it myself, I’m going to do it myself.”
