luxury hospital kate middleton's babyKate Middleton’s baby will be born in style: Duchess Kate will deliver the new royal baby in a 5-star luxury suite at a posh hospital.

The royal baby will be born in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London, a lavish suite that costs $15,000 per night. It comes with high-end furniture, a duvet, a wardrobe and other amenities.

“You have a wine menu, there’s champagne, Diet Coke, coffee, tea—you name it,” says Georgie McGrath, a woman who had two babies in the Lindo Wing, in an interview with E! News. “You could go in and say, ‘Could I possibly have a Lobster Thermidor?’ or whatever and it will arrive,” she said.

A bouquet of fresh flowers will be delivered daily, and the curtains will be heavy blackout drapes.

You have nurses and midwifes who cater to you, and after the baby is born, they prepare a special meal for yourself and your husband in which you can toast the new arrival with champagne.

Princess Diana delivered Prince William and Prince Harry in the Lindo Wing. She was the first royal to give birth in a hospital rather than at the palace. Will and Harry’s cousins, Peter and Zara, were born in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world will get updates on the royal baby just as quickly as the doctors do. People will be tweeting, news organizations and press relations managers will be on-site, camera crews will be set up outside the door, and an official birth announcement will be carried by car from the hospital wing to Buckingham Palace.
